A gorgeous Balkan silver filigree bracelet. This style of bracelet with fluted filigree links was made in Europe through the 1930s and 40s and it imitates the Ottoman style which I believe was originally developed in the Balkan region. This particular bracelet has an assay mark for 800 (80% purity) silver on the clasp. The filigree is very fine and the bracelet is in fine vintage condition. There was once a gold gilt on this bracelet and some faint traces of it remain.
