This very romantic vintage ring features two hearts (represending the idea of two people in union forever), each set with a bezel set gemstone; one with a diamond and one with a garnet.  The hearts are detailed with beautifully engraved sunburst motifs, reminding me of seashells.  Decorated swirling shoulders finish off the detail to this pretty gallery, which leads onto a simple gold band.

Currently a UK size O, which is a US size 7, the band could be re-sized within reason. It weighs 2.6g and is hallmarked for 9ct Gold, Chester and the year 1959.  The gems are lively and firmly set, making this a ring safe for every day wear.
